  • Free admission to the Delray Beach HIstory museum will allow you to get up close and personal with the historical exhibits.
  • Throughout our trek we'll direct your attention to over 40 historical sites and or buildings.
  • We will visit one of the oldest hotels and a beloved local business called The Original Popcorn House. (Hint: may include free popcorn.)
  • You'll visit places and learn things you otherwise would not have known or seen while visiting or residing in Delray Beach.

We encourage picture taking so don't forget your camera.

Sorry kids under the age of 4 are not allowed on the tour due to vehicle safety reasons.

During the cooler months we suggest a light jacket.

Our tour will begin at the Cason Cottage/Delray Beach Historical Society located at 5 NE 1st Street.  You will take a chauffeured tour through the streets of Downtown Delray Beach.  Our Saturday 2:30pm tour begins with a visit to the Delray History Museum.  All other tour days and times end with a visit to the Delray History Musuem.

We will "hop off" at several locations.

You will tour this charming 1926 hotel located in the heart of Delray Beach. See the original elevator, tour the historic ballroom, and see the original switchboard and more.

Get up close and personal with over century old artifacts.

Please meet your tour operator at Cason Cottage/Delray Beach Historical Society located at 5 NE 1st Street. You may park in the parking lot behind Docs Ice Cream or in the Old School Square parking garage located at 180 NE 1st Street. Then please proceed to the meeting location.

Are children allowed?

Children 4 and older are allowed on the tour and must be able to ride in a seat with a seat belt on their own without a booster or car seat.  No lap riders are allowed due to safety laws.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.

Do I need to tip?

Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%. Your five star rating is also a great compliment and highly encouraged.

What do we do in case of bad weather?

We DO NOT tour in the rain as we are in an open vehicle. Please check the weather prior to booking.  If it is raining prior to your selected tour slot please contact us to discuss alternatives.   We advise you to check the weather forecast prior to booking your tour event.  We will arrange for a tour reschedule in the event of rain.

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected hop off locations.
